LIVESTRONG Army - VooDoo Chapter

VOTE YELLOW  ( vot * yel-o): 1. n. An expression of choice made by 12 million cancer survivors and their loved ones. 2. v. To declare one's opinion that our leaders should make cancer a national priority. 3. n. A philosophy believing it is unacceptable to lose 560,000+ Americans to cancer each year. 4. n. LIVESTRONG tm

This election year, find out what your next President will do to stop the decrease in federal funding to the Nation Cancer Institute and help make the war on cancer a national priority. A Vote Yellow will help accomplish the goal.

We have all been touched by cancer. Whether a father, mother, sibling, friend, patient, co-worker, son or daughter, the list goes on and on and is way too long. Fact = 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women develop cancer.
 Fact = last year, in the United States alone, every minute of the day a person died from cancer. Fact = Over the last 3 years, federal funding to the National Cancer Research Center has been cut.

As many of you know, Matthew, the founder of VooDoo Athletics LTD., is a STRONG supporter of cancer research and fundraising to help find a cure. As part of who and what VooDoo Athletics is about, keeping individuals and families educated about how to keep a healthy cancer free body is an important part of our mission statement  as well as helping those that do have the disease. Whether we put them in touch with those to offer emoitonl support, sponsor charity events to fundraise for various cancer related charities, or by multiple other ways, VooDoo Athletics is now a part of the community.  

This year, Matthew and VooDoo Athletics were invited to join Lance Armstrong and others from various chapters of his LIVESTRONG Army to learn what we can do to help and a new alliance between VooDoo Athletics and the LIVESTRONG foundation is slowly emerging, but we need your help to grow our local LIVESTRONG Army. Please, take a minute to fill out the form below to join our LIVESTRONG army and tell the powers to be it's not OK to let cancer continue spread without a cure.
